cravings!!

I never thought I would know what cravings are, until I came here!! I miss the aroma, spices, freshness, natural food and everything related to that. Starts with coffee everyday, no matter how many flavours n varieties u get in coffee, u r not satisfied. The aroma of the filter coffee, the taste...mmm I cant tell u how good it is! You will realize that never in ur life u felt the same way towards coffee. And then comes the food, I would love to eat out on most of the occassions but not now! After the bday treat being so baddd :( I cant imagine myself venturing that again! Ofcourse there is a big difference here, there comes the veggie stuff. I have to say, they are the poor souls who can not believe something which is 100% veg is really veg. This makes it possible to dramatically change all veggie junta to 'super star chefs'. You get to see all frozen food, cut into pieces to make your job simple. But somehow you wont like to use the shortcuts this time. You prefer to buy the fresh ones and prepare them all by urself. Not to stop there, u start searching for only those restaurants which offer traditional country food. You will fall in love at first sight with that kinda places! Finally you will realize that the cravings have reached the saturation level and would be dying to return to your place. This place made me realize the importance of cravings n how powerful they are!! I thank this place which made me realize the value of something which we often criticize! It's like being in hostel for the first time in ur life. It's like missing ur mom's food in hostel!!

Understanding What Is Automation In Today's World

What is automation? Does it mean killing the beauty of human nuances in a handicraft? Or does it mean changing the face of how we manufacture many things? What is automation, really? When you type the words, 'what is automation?' and search online, the results include worlds apart meanings, such as -"the use or introduction of automatic equipment in a manufacturing or other process or facility" and "unemployment due to the spread of automation." An engineer might prefer the former answer, while a sculptor might favor the latter!
Let's ponder a bit...
What is automation to an engineer could be completely different from, what is automation to a sculptor! Although the answers might turn out to be exact opposites, may be there is a need to refine our question from 'what is automation?' to 'What is automation with respect to basic necessities of life?'

That brings us to the need of addressing what is automation as per the context? And when w…

Parenting Tales - Luck Is Overrated & Happiness Is Acquired

Hey there! It has been such a long time I wrote here and it feels so good to be back. While the look and feel and reach of blogs have been transformed while I was away, one thing remained constant and that is content. End of the day, we all read when the content appeals to us, when the content stays with us, keep popping out of our minds when we are busy with something else, when it resonates with our persona and current phase of life.

If you are a parent and dealing with new parenting trials every day then yes my thoughts resonate very much with you - our content is the same :) Let me make you feel jealous/happy for a bit now! Recently, during many interactions I was quoted as a 'lucky parent' and I felt the need to write why it is not so on most occasions. Sooner, you will know why.

My child is 5 years now and below are certain things that happen as a rhythm and part of his lifestyle.

1. He is the first one to wake up at home by himself, early in the morning, around 6-6:30 …

'No vote' is a welcome sign

After all, everybody has a right to vote and not vote, isn't it? If you don't vote does that simply mean you have lost the right to blame the government also? That's big debate! It is the right of a person not to vote, but that 'no vote' from the government is a welcome sign. If at all there is a 100% voting in India, I am sure in most places the 'no vote' wins the elections with greatest majority ever in the history of Indian elections! Oh that's not a good sign but! hmm what does that mean? Should the election commission go on conducting re-elections in those 'no vote' won areas? Don't you think they will enter a loop of conducting elections again and again? When does the government form? Lot of questions! It might not mean there are not any good leaders out there, but it definitely means people have lost the trust in the election candidates. So why not let people nominate their candidates as well, keeping a limit on number of candidates t…
